Strange country

Draft-dodger gives Presidential Medal of Freedom to draft resister. Compared to last year, anyway, this year's list of awardees should be cause for celebration. Better a lame comedian, a very skilled golfer, and just one war-criminal.

    I don't know what's worse, giving the Presidential Medal of Freedom for Matlock, or for Abu Ghraib.

    Oh come now, Matlock was good fun. I have fond memories of watching it with my grandmother and making sly fun under her nose. That is quite the hodgepodge list though. Maybe they're hoping the photos will be so chock-a-block no one will bother using them in satire?
